Agio Patio Furniture

The fresh air of the early spring solstice and the celebration song of the earth call us to leave the safety and comfort of our indoor winter haven. We venture forth to explore the new life that is springing up all around us, and habitually look for a place to relax and absorb the sounds and smells swirling through the air. Agio Patio Furniture may be just the answer to true enjoyment of the new seasons arrival.

We all have our ideas of what the perfect outdoor furniture setting looks like. Some enjoy a rustic outdoors woodsy look that will endure the weather with stoic indifference. Others fancy a Victorian wicker patio set that combines comfort and appearance into an attractive setting. Still others go all out for a grand weave of grace and charm that envelopes the user in a rapture of comfort. What do you consider to be the perfect outdoor setting? Whatever your personal preference, theres Agio outdoor furniture on the market that will fit your ideal setting.

Patio furniture sets the tone for your backyard experience. A rustic, wooden patio set invites the family outdoors for an evening of roughhousing and fun. Meanwhile, across town, an Agio patio furniture set begs a father to fire up the barbeque grill for a neighborhood cookout.

Outdoor patio furniture is made for pleasure, especially Agio Patio Furniture. What can be more enjoyable than a day or afternoon in the outdoors of the summer? Outdoor patio furniture has the privilege of bringing people together for a time of togetherness in an outdoor setting that provides all of the comforts of indoor furniture. Chaise lounges are great for relaxation. Chairs with thickly padded cushions and adjustable backs are perfect for comfortable dining. Large tables with their handsome umbrellas to keep the sun from causing discomfort provide spacious table settings. What more could we ask for?

Refinancing After Bankruptcy

Refinancing after a bankruptcy can seem like an especially difficult challenge, but it doesnt have to be. Six months after your bankruptcy has been finalized, you can find lenders willing to refinance your mortgage. In fact, refinancing your mortgage can help rebuild your credit to good standing in two years time. The following steps will help you find the best refinance lender while helping your rebuild your credit record.

Preparing For Refinancing

Right after bankruptcy, you have six months to prepare to refinance your mortgage. Begin by establishing good payment history by regularly paying your bills and current mortgage. This is also a good time to open a credit card account to start establishing good credit history.

If possible, also start building up a savings account. The more cash assets you have, the better your application will look. Consider having a garage sale or taking a second job to raise funds.

Researching Lenders

Once you are ready to refinance, research mortgage lenders and their rates. Online mortgage websites allow easy comparison shopping. Look at both interest rates and fees of refinancing quotes. Usually a slightly higher rate with low fees is the best deal.

With bankruptcy on your credit report, you will typically need to work with a sub prime lender. You can expect to pay a few percentage points above a traditional mortgage, which you can find through online mortgage companies.

Choosing Your Refinancing Package

You may be offered a chance to cash out part of your homes equity when refinancing your mortgage. If you need to make home improvements or buy a car, this may be a good option. However, if you keep your homes equity in place, you are improving your credit.

Once you have decided on your terms, you can finish your loan application online or through the mail. Quotes are not guaranteed, so rates may vary slightly once your application has been approved. Before the loan is finalized though you have the opportunity to review the loan again.

After Refinancing

With your refinancing completed, you can plan to lower your interest rates through refinancing in two years by building up your credit score. Continue to make regular payments and add to your cash reserves. Before you apply to refinance again, review your credit report to be sure your bankruptcy closed all past accounts on your record. With a solid credit history behind you, you can apply to traditional mortgage lenders.

Beat the Summer Heat - What Size A/C Do I Need?

A larger air conditioner will not always provide more cooling. It should be sized for the room area. If properly sized it should operate long enough to remove moisture from the air. It is the moisture removed from the room which actually produces the feeling of cooling. Unfortunately many people in their rush to purchase a window air conditioner buy too large a model.

Too large a unit can actually provide less cooling than a smaller, properly sized unit. This is because with an oversized air conditioner its run time is too short. Consequently it does not remove enough moisture from the room to produce a feeling of comfort. If youre A/C seems to cycle off and then back on every few minutes and does a poor job of cooling, it is probably oversized for the room.

Air conditioners are rated in BTUs. British Thermal Units are a measurement of how much heat is being transferred form the room being cooled to where the heat is dumped out of doors. This is why the cooing coil inside the room is cool to the touch, while the part that hangs outside is extremely hot.

A window air conditioner used in the average household room can be as low as 4000 BTU. While 5000, 6000, and 8000 are the most common sizes purchased.

How do I determine what size A/C I need? Following is a basic sizing chart for calculating the window air conditioner needed for a room. Calculate the size of the room by multiplying the width of the room by the length of the room. Use your room size to determine what BTU's are required to cool that particular room size.

room in sq ft-----room in sq m-----A/C size in BTU's

100 250............9 23............5000 6000

250 400...........23 37............6000 8500

400 550...........37 51............8000 11000

550 875...........51 81...........11000 15000

Based on a room occupied by two adults, having an average insulation, number of windows, and sun exposure.

Which is the best room for placement of an air conditioner?

Wherever it gives the most comfort is where it should be installed. If you only have one air conditioner then we usually suggest the bedroom. This is because most people find that if they can sleep comfortably during a hot summer night then their next days work will be a lot easier. Getting through a hot day at work becomes a lot easier when you know you will sleep comfortably that night.

Some people do not like a cool sleeping environment so they will tend to place it in a living room or family room. Or some people will place it in the family room because the whole family can sleep there. Get out the sleeping bags and turn it into an adventure for the young ones. Beats waking up in the morning to find a dog, cat, and four kids in the bed with you.

Also window air conditioner can be noisy, which may disturb sleep. Others find the drone of the fan actually promotes sleep because all the neighbourhood noises are drowned out. Some people say the air conditioner works as well as a sleeping pill

But whichever room you eventually pick dont expect the impossible from youre A/C. It is not meant to cool more than one room or one open area. Air conditioners will not cool other rooms? This is because the blower in a window air conditioner is not very powerful. It is sized to cool one open area, not a number of interconnected rooms. Therefore once again a couple of smaller units may be better for your home than one large unit.

Lastly, remember to properly secure the air conditioner in the window. Once installed a piece of wood to stop the window from being lifted up is a good idea. If you have wooden sills the simple addition of a wood screw at the top of the raised window (the one you had to raise to install the A/C) will only take a minute. Otherwise an intruder could gain access to the house by lifting the window and letting the A/C fall out. This could result in the loss of both your valuables and the air conditioner.

Which Diet is Best?

Now that I've lost 70 lbs., peole will often come up to me and ask me which diet I think is best. This puts me into somewhat of a dilemma, as there really is no such thing as a 'best' diet. Each of our bodies is unique and a diet that works best for one person may not work as well for another. Many people report having great success with Atkins, and several recent studies back them up, while still others swear by a low-fat diet.

I for one knew that if I were to be successful on a diet it would have to be one that allowed me to eat a wide variety of foods. You see, I don't do well at taking orders. It's a personality flaw, I know, but it's just the way I am. Tell me not to eat any carbs and I'll devuor a big ol' plate of pasta. Tell me not to eat any fat and I'll be hitting the cheesecake up like Scooby after an ounce of the chronic. It's a sickness, really.

But I think it's important to know one's weaknesses when choosing a diet. If you're the type of person that enjoys eating bread with every meal you should ask yourself if Atkins is really right for you. Similarly, if you like going out for a steak every Saturday then you might want to think twice before choosing a diet that restricts your intake of red meat. After all, it isn't like you're some stable horse that happily eats oats everyday for dinner. You need variety in your diet. In fact, it's a lack of variety that causes people to eventually abandon their diets.

This is why a Mediterranean-type diet worked for me. It allows for the benefits of a low-carb diet without discriminating against good low-glycemic carbs like those from beans and whole grains. And it allows for meats and healthy fats like olive oil, plus plenty of fruits and vegetables packed with fiber and phyto-chemicals.

First, know that olive oil is THE fat of choice. Yes, I know that butter is sometimes used, but olive oil is predominant. They make it everywhere from Greece to Italy to Tunisia, and it's healthy effect on the heart is the same no matter where it's made, especially if it's extra virgin olive oil. This of course doesn't imply that the other olive oils are whores, just that extra virgin was made from the first pressing of the olives, resulting in a greener, fuller and slightly fruitier oil with more heart-healthy compounds that can help to lower bad cholesterol levels (while raising the good, HDL levels) and lower your risk for heart disease.

Second, know that everyone drinks wine. However, please note that I am not suggesting that you should start drinking wine. But I do think it's wide-spread consumption helps to account for the French Paradox -- where the French have far lower rates of heart disease than Americans despite eating creamy, fatty foods. Besides the healthy flavanoinds in red wine, all alcohol acts as a blood thinner, keeping plaque from sticking to your arteries and keeping your veins pliant. Too much alcohol, though, will severely damage the heart. Moderation, as always, is key.

Third, know that size does matter. Portion-size, that is. For instance, unlike in America, Italians do not eat an enormous plate of spaghetti with two soft ball-sized meatballs on top. Rather, they would eat a potion of pasta about equivalent to that which would fit into a cereal bowl. And protein is rarely the star. Instead, it's just another course in a well balanced meal -- along with the salad, pasta, and cheese courses, amongst others. Italian cuisine being rooted in poverty, red meat was a luxury especially in regions that didn't have many cows. Meatballs (golf ball-sized) were a great way to extend and apportion a rare commodity. Fish, though, is plentiful, and easily finds it's way onto many Mediterranean plates, providing lots of healthy omega-fats.

Lastly, let's not overlook the human element. Mediterraneans have a certain joy of life and they take the time to appreciate good food and drink with friends and family, and this appreciation of life must at least in part account for some of their general well-being.

It's clear then why a Mediterranean diet appealed to me. More importantly was that it worked for me. But that doesn't mean that it's right for you. And following a diet was only one part of my weight loss program, including aerobic exercise, resistance training, meditation and taking natural herbs and supplements like calcium and hoodia gordonii.

In the end, you will have to find a weight loss program that works for you. One that you will be able to stick with. Certainly I've failed at more diets than I've succeeded with, but then nobody said it would be easy. Indeed, the road to weight loss is fraught with many chocolate-flavored pot holes, but with some perseverance and a little friendly advice I know you'll make it to the skinny end.

Shortbread - from Paupers to Posh Parlors

Ever wonder who the first person was to invent your favorite food or dessert? At Vermont Shortbread Company, we ponder such matters all the time... so, we did a little research on shortbread to see what age-old secrets the internet might reveal!

Shortbread, like many other foods that we now consider delicacies, was believe-it-or-not, once snubbed by royalty because it was made with butter, which was considered a waste by-product of milk. Can you even imagine a time when butter-rich foods weren't considered sheer decadence? We certainly can't!

Yes, back in the medeival days of knights and noblemen, European dairy farmers would sell most of their milk to the landlords and turn the surplus into cheese and butter, both of which were valued for their long shelf life, and dismissed as a peasant food by the well-to-do who had cash to throw around and apparently gallons of milk to waste freely.

At Christmastime, poor families of the Middle Ages found a brilliant use for the tons of "scorned" butter that remained lying around: mix with sugar, oat or wheat flour and other flavorings to create a sweet and rich-tasting cookie that would later become known as shortbread. Of course, we have no way of knowing who was the original chap to make shortbread... but we do know that once the wealthy got a taste for what they were missing, shortbread and other butter-based cookies became a must-have at the Queen Mum's afternoon tea table!

Shortbread isn't the only recipe that wears the rags-to-riches badge of culinary honor. The truth is, *most* gourmet foods and desserts that are prepared by world-famous chefs and listed on the menus of expensive restaurants and posh patisseries, were likely dreamed up by the common folk. Dandelion greens, an acquired taste but nevertheless popular in fine restaurants, were first eaten in America during the Depression when food was sparse and folks had to survive on whatever they could find in the field. In Mexico, the unforgettable avocado is known as the poor man's butter! And if you consider any of the wild game delicacies that high-end restaurants serve as specialty items (rabbit, wild boar, venison, quail), you might remember the "uncivilized" who first sampled such foods - hungry men on the brink of survival who had to go out and catch their dinner themselves.

So, after our little foray back in epicurean time, it's clear that shortbread is just one of millions of foods that sprang from a need and blossomed into something amazing thanks to the love, care and creativity of the world's greatest chefs (many of whom will never get the credit they deserve for their amazing culinary contributions!). And it's also pretty evident that after several centuries and only slight modification to the recipe, shortbread is as close to perfection as a cookie can get -- and a tradition that's here to stay.

Save Money By Giving Flower Seeds As Wedding Favors

Using seed packets for wedding favors is a lovely idea and is very cost effective as well. You can present your wedding guests with seeds for annual flowers, perennials, trees, shrubs or even houseplants. The options are practically limitless.

Should you be having a theme that incorporates flowers, such as a daisy wedding theme, this makes choosing flower seed packets pretty easy. A nice idea would be to determine how many different varieties of a particular flower there is that you could hand out as favors, rather than using all of the same color or type. For a wedding that isn't focused on flowers as an actual theme, you could package your chosen seed types in themed containers instead. Here are a few examples:

Should you be having a beach/seashore wedding, choose flowers and shrub seeds that would normally grow near an ocean. Bayberry (bush), Sweet Pea (vine), or Rosemary (herb) are all good choices. Use miniature treasure chests, large sea shells, or beach themed favor bags or boxes to hold your seed packets.

Coneflower (Mexican Hat), Desert Baileya (Desert Marigold) or Purple Sage bushes are ideal for a Western theme wedding. Place the seed packets in miniature cowboy hats or boots, small colorful southwestern clay pots, or wrapped in gingham fabric.

Although Roses seem to be the first choice for a Valentine's Day, sweetheart or romantic theme, there are several other flower choices that are just as romantic. Try using forget-me-nots, orchids, Amaranth (Globe), Bell Flower or Sunflower. These are just a few of the flowers that are associated with meanings of romance, which you can include on your thank-you favor tags.

Weddings that are based on colors can also use seed packages that will grow flowers related to a particular color combination. For example, if you choose to have a white and black themed wedding, use pure white flower seeds packs placed in black velvet-like material bags. Purple and gold makes a stunning color combination and flower seeds such as violets, purple irises, or purple lilacs placed in gold-toned favor boxes would be ideal as favors.

When it comes to choosing what types of flower seeds you could give out as favors, the variety of ideas are endless. All it takes is a little bit of imagination and creativity. Hopefully the above ideas will provide you with some inspiration to come up with your own combination of wedding favors.

Building or Decorating Your Home Requires House Plans

There are some things to consider when creating plans for your home. There are two situations that call for plans or blue prints, either you are building a new home or decorating your present home. The types of plans required for either situation will vary depending on the extent of your project.

When building a new home, there are several things you will want to consider carefully. The most obvious is where you are going to build your house. The climate will affect where you build. You wouldnt build an icehouse in the middle of the desert. You will want to determine what material you will want to use. Brick, wood, and cement are popular. In the southern states clay adobe houses are the norm. In the north and other areas brick, wood, and stone are options. The climate will influence this choice as well. In areas where there is cold weather brick and cement are used because they absorb and retain heat. In the south wood frame houses are built. The size of your lot will determine the size and type of house you want. You couldnt build a mansion on say a quarter of an acre. On the other hand a one bedroom, single floor home would look strange on a lot that is two acres or bigger. Whether your home has a basement could be important and that would depend on where you live. If you are lucky to have a basement, it can house the laundry room and your gym equipment or be a playroom/guest room.

Now that you know where and what type of climate you will be building in it is time to think about the plans. Blueprints are or have been used to draw a linear picture of the house as you see it. Now however there are computer programs that will allow you to build your house in 3-D. There are also web sites online that will also allow you to build your house and see it in 3-D. Not only that but some sites will allow you to place your furniture. There are several kinds of technical drawings that are used to create plans for a new home. There are site plans that address coding issues, landscaping, location specifics, drainage (land contours), trees, set backs, and property lines. A floor plan is a design plan of the house, the layout of the rooms, and where the windows and doors. Another type of plan is building sections, which is a cross section of the house. It helps determine any issues, visualize your finished house and floor plans using section marks. Wall sections show the construction of one exterior wall where sections are indicated with section marks. Exterior Elevations include such features as porches and decks. They also show furniture, window and door locations, eave heights and roofing. Interior elevations show the lighting layout and ceiling conditions. Porches are another very interesting option; they can be enclosed, go all the way around the house. They can also be half-enclosed and half-open. They can be reminders of times past. A huge porch reminds me of my aunts farm years ago. Porches are great for extending family time and conversation while still being protected from the weather.

Decisions to be made are the size of each room, the number of rooms and the number of floors to be built. Will there be a basement or a fireplace, and where is the house going to sit on the lot. You could have a front yard or the house could be in the front of the lot with a yard in the back. You could also put it right in the center and have land all around. The next consideration is whether you will have a contractor draw up the plans which will be an expense, or you can do them yourself. To do them yourself you will need a pencil or pen, scissors, a measuring tape, and graph paper with 1/4-inch boxes.

You will draw rooms to scale; one box per foot is good. Measure your rooms, doors, windows, heat and air cooling appliances. Draw the outlines of the rooms according to scale. Measure your furniture (you only need to worry about length and width here) next and take another piece of graph paper. Draw out lines of your furniture, label them and cut them out. Use these pieces to set up the rooms. When you find an arrangement you like, you can make a more permanent drawing. On another sheet of graph paper draw a box for each wall. Scale your windows, doors, built-ins and other features.

Picking a floor plan is a process of answering some very important questions. Will this place be big enough or too big in a few years? Does your design fit in with the houses in the neighborhood? Does the design of the house fit in with the lot size and shape? Will the windows provide the best view and what windows will catch the sunlight in the morning and afternoon? Will changes need to be made or can changes even be considered? Are the rooms that will be used most of the time of adequate size? Expanding your house size could mean you need to sacrifice amenities or storage space. Do you have specialty rooms such as a craft room, an office, or a gym? An office can double as a guestroom. The trend now is toward creating a family area where there is room for each to do his/her own hobby or to be together watching movies or playing games. When all the decisions are made and the plans are all drawn you will be ready to build.

Suppose now, that you are purchasing an already built home or renting an apartment. Plans can be done in these situations as well. Most places will offer a floor plan for you to look at with the measurements of the space in the rooms. If this is not available you can draw your own plan. You would need the same materials and the plan is fixed, you are limited to what is already there. Draw the outlines of each room according to scale. Take another sheet of graph paper and draw the outlines of your furniture. Label them and cut them out. You can move these pieces around till you find an arrangement you like. You might be limited with your television set because the outside antenna is in a certain spot.

Take another piece of graph paper and draw the wall sections of each room noting the windows, doors, and any heating or cooling appliance might be situated. You will have already placed your furniture so you will have a good idea of what your new home will look like. You can now decorate according to your tastes. In a rental home however, you might not be able to change wall colors or in rare cases hang pictures.

Planning for your home can be very exciting. You could be buying new furniture but you might want to consider the color of the carpets or the floors when you are choosing your pieces. A blue couch on a brown carpet does not exactly match. When planning for your home whether you buy or rent should be done carefully. Keep in mind your preferences, your limitations and if you are building, local zoning ordinances.

Hey Paula-Reality TV Review

I was on vacation a week ago, when I needed a bit of rejuvenation from all of the things to do and see when one goes on vacation...Anyway, since I'd sworn to relax, forget about my trusted computer and just pretend that writers, like myself, can go a few days without trying to get their work syndicated, I decided to casually flip through the cable channels that flashed upon the big screen tv inside the cabin reserved with the intent to relax...

Lo and behold, I see Paula Abdul facing the cameras. She is describing the goings on of her new Bravo Reality Show, Hey Paula. After watching a couple episodes of the show, I get why it is that Paula Abdul has to become a virtual tour guide for her viewers. This once chart topping female artist of the 90's with such hits as Straight Up, was biting off more than she could chew by allowing the cameras to capture stuff in her closets that I think should have remained packed away in boxes marked, "Not for Viewers"

Something tells me, that I should have avoided the lure of Reality TV while on vacation, because the medically trained part of me now merges with the debatable creative brain cells forming one big Need to dish/inform/question/cry foul, as in "something is wrong with Paula's take on her reasons for acting like a crazed woman as cameras rolled." This is what I think...I must reiterate that this is simply my take on Hey Paula.

Paula Abdul, Why would you air your dirty laundry to the viewing public and then pretend that you are not drinking, popping a pill or, both, when from your actions, that is exactly what you were doing? I mean, Starbucks makes darn good coffee and we all know coffee contains caffeine, but, it doe not get you sooo agitated, animated and acting like a celebrity who have abstained from having sex...you do realize we all saw your performance at that smell test for your perfume?

Now, Paula, I have been a fan. I have wanted to believe you when you were drinking tall cups of beverage on American Idol, denying it contained alcohol. I even wanted to believe that you tripped over your itty bitty pooch...but, Paula you and your publicity team claims what every Celebrity who have been caught on tape, cry, "Exhaustion" to explain away your erratic behaviours. Paula, the writer in me want to believe you, I do, but, the nurse in me think perhaps, you consumed a bit of stimulant, along with that Starbucks and just maybe a few glasses of bubbly?

Let's face it, you are stressed. You are human. You are a celebrity. But, Paula, what is the deal with your PR Team? They failed miserably in advising that good ole celebrity standby, "Exhaustion". You might want to have your people call John Stamo people...He is riding the waves of resurgence, thanks to a bit of truth to a very intelligent viewing public who, in essence, call themselves 'Fans', even while they are on vacation.

Long Tail Organic SEO & Semantic Keyword Optimization

What does the word "Optimization" mean to you? Although our personal opinions may differ regarding what the term infers, knowing exactly how search engines interpret semantic relationships between words is a crucial component for improving organic website placement.

Latent semantic indexing is a process that determines the way search engines associate words. Understanding how to employ (LSI) latent semantic indexing strategically for keyword research, can provide hundreds of alternative keyword-rich suggestions for your website titles, descriptions and on page content. This process is also great for augmenting organic long-tail search engine optimization and providing a wider range of secondary phrases your website or individual pages will rank for in search engines.

For example instead of optimizing a broad search term like "architect", a person may be prone to type in a a more specific query such as "affordable architect for designing cad drawings for convenience store", the point being, the more descriptive the search, the more chances your pages have to be returned in the search results through elevating your websites secondary and pivotal keywords. Studies have conclusively shown that long tail searches result in higher conversion rates for website owners. One theory is that someone inputing a longer (more specific) search query indicates a heightened interest in the subject. This heightened interest is synonymous with a visitor who has switched from an information gatherer to a qualified prospect for your business. Now you ask, how might one catch the long tail of SEO and receive hits from dozens or quite possibly hundreds of keyword combinations in search queries? The answer, writing with a broader range of vocabulary. Keeping your keywords on topic, but using varying forms to extend the range of your SERP is completely ethical.

Increase Relevance for your Copy using (LSI) Latent Semantic Indexing

Instead of keyword stuffing (adding your keywords numerous times to inflate the importance of your pages) you can simply use alternative terms that describe the same concept and thereby strengthen your foothold for all related terms that fall under the umbrella of that keyword.

Essentially, within a few minutes time using Google and by adding one unique character before a term, you can strike keyword gold and find a variety of alternatives to enhance your rankings.

For example, applying keyword research for the word optimization Google highlighted the following associated words in bold on the displayed results.

    -analysis
    -positioning
    -performance
    -placement
    -submission
    -speed

Although there are additional terms returned by this query, the extent of the keywords you discover are determined by the number of results that you sift through using the numbers or arrows at the bottom of Google (in this instance approximately 10 pages produced the keywords above from descriptions related to the search term.

Now that you have found various alternative keywords that refer to the term "optimization" or whatever your word you are researching, you can incorporate them into a coherent sentence and place that sentence strategically in your web page. If you start with the topic first and use this method to construct the content on your pages, you will most assuredly achieve stronger organic rankings for your keywords that you have clearly identified for that page.

Application of Semantic Keyword Research

For example, based on the keywords above one could compile a sentence that would rank well in search engines and augment the term optimization. In this example, every keyword is used in some form, but used tactfully. This is also a great way to find terms for your tags for blogs.

In order to optimize the performance of your website or blogs position in search engines, analysis of the keywords and their placement can tremendously affect search engine rankings.

Note how most of the terms were used?

Using this method for developing your content is completely ethical and naturally strengthens the content and word density without resorting to spamming the engines or affecting usability for your visitors.

So what is the magical grapheme symbol we have been discussing? It is the tilde ~. Place the tilde in front of a keyword / search term in Google then hit return, the words you see bolded in the search results determine other known indexed words that correspond to your keyword for that search engine.

In this case I used the word ~optimization to research alternative keywords.

To summarize, using Semantic keyword association the next time you're stumped with writer's block or are simply looking for alternative keywords for Google ad words, blogs, tags, titles, descriptions or content, use the tilde before the search term and replace the word optimization with the keyword of your choice.

How to Make Cheap Homemade Birthday Party Invitations

You are thinking that you dont have the time are talent for this. However you can do it, and we will take you through all of stepson how to make cheap homemade birthday party invitations, that will be as attractive as any store bought cards.

Search the web for free templates with orb without designs already in place. Be aware that some web sites only allow you to access free templates and or designs if you purchase your blank cards from them.. However there are some sites that have free templates, designs and wording samples that are truly free.

If you are making invitations for a senior citizens birthday look for clip art from the time when they were small children or teenagers. If you can find a baby picture of Grandpa or a school picture, what a cool invitation that would make.

My cousins father-in-law was born in 1928, so when she made the invitations for his birthday party she put a picture of Mickey Mouse on the front of the invitation , since Mickey was also born in 1928 also. On the Front of the card She wrote Happy Birthday to Jack Smith and Mickey Mouse. Her father-in-law loved it!

The next thing you have to do is choose the wording. You may of course use the standard type of invitation verse but it would be so much more unique if you created your own wording.

When you buy youre your blank invitation cards, get a few extra , incase of a paper jam, ink smear or other un-forseen problem

Have extra ink cartridges on hand. You dont want to run out in the middle of printing your invitations.

Before you start printing the project run one copy on a piece of paper the size of your invitation cards. This will let you know if there are any typing errors, and you can make sure everything is lined up the way you want it. The project shouldnt take more than an hour so to complete.

Now that you know how to make cheap homemade birthday party invitations, enjoy the process.

If the birthday boy or girl was born on or close to a major holiday, incorporate symbols of that holiday on the invitations. A friends husband was born on the 4th of July, so she made the invitations for his party with an exploding firecracker for her design on the front and this quote from George M. Cohan Im a real live nephew of my Uncle Sam, born on the 4thof July. My neighbor is a police officer and her kids made her invitations using a photo of her badge, hat and nightstick

For a member of the Clergy, use a symbol of his or her office ,such as a bible, pulpit, chalice, cross or Star of David.

The design choices for children are just about endless. Cartoon characters, superheroes, animals, Disney characters, toys and the list goes on. Teenagers are a little harder to find clipart of guitars, CDs rock and roll , car and sports images are all good choices for teen birthday party invitations.

Let invitations for adults reflect their careers, hobbies or other interests.

My husband loves to hunt and fish, so of course I made his birthday party invitations to reflect those interests. He really like the one I made when I used a picture of him standing on the bank of casting out into the river.

You can use free templates and print then with your wording choice and then rubber stamp the designs, for another unique approach to invitations. But, that is very time consuming time.

Now share the fun, get a bunch of your friends together, and teach them how to make cheap homemade birthday party invitations.
