Blackheads are formed when pores are closed to the surface of the skin. The 'black' color of the blackheads are due to accumulation of a mixture of cells and oils being blocked in the pores.

Effaclar k is highly raved as it helps in reducing blackheads as it contains salicylic acid which is oil soluble and have antiseptic property. It can penetrate the pores and help to dissolve the sebum and thus minimise the formation of blackheads.

Alternative, you can also use aspirin mask as it also contain salicylic which has the same effects as Effaclar K. However, you should only do it once a week.

Remember to follow up with toning and moisturising. As long as you follow the above pore care regimen properly, you can be ensure of clean pores for life.
